We held a volunteer briefing last week to let people know how they can get involved in our project this summer. The event opened with a brief history of the Hut and the things that went on there: Dr Ailsa Grant Ferguson – the story of the Shakespeare Hut
There are 3 ways to volunteer for the project:
- Tell us your family story from the First World War and/or work with Digital Drama to record and transcribe these oral histories for an art installation at Keppel Street this summer.
- Be part of the dramatic re-enactment on 11th August 2016 – acting sessions with The Mustard Club to bring the archive alive, researching and creating characters from archive materials, contributing to the script or working backstage – we need you!
- Take part in our digital badging project through your school or youth project
Please do get in touch if you are interested and we can let you know the dates of the next briefing event or volunteering session. Contact firstname.lastname@example.org or email@example.com
